Why We Exist
We care about who owns our future.
We want our jobs to be kept local. We want wealth to be shared with those who helped build it, and we need to retain the businesses we depend on in our rural communities.
We provide flexible, personalized support so employee ownership can be practical, as well as rewarding, for everyone involved.
We are based in Colorado, passionate about the rural West, and happy to travel nation-wide.
Meet the Team
-
Marion brings 15 years of experience working in businesses of all sizes and sectors, and has spent the last spent the last decade building better, more resilient workplaces.
Her broad range of experience helped build the perspective needed to understand your particular circumstances and the hands-on skills to get you to the finish line. She improved processes and built community relations at a large manufacturer, strengthened systems and leadership at a dental health start-up, helped scale small businesses for an impact investor, facilitated collaborative planning sessions and implemented horizontal management practices in various companies and organizations.
Before starting Co-Own, Marion provided guidance and support to businesses exploring and implementing employee ownership through the Rocky Mountain Employee Ownership Center. In that time, she developed a specialty for Alternate Equity Structures and Employee Ownership Trusts. She is currently the only educator on these forms of employee ownership in Colorado.
Industry-specific experience: manufacturing, hospitality, retail, food & beverage, advisory services, small-scale agriculture, and event security.
